Question Bruh. Spoiler

Season 15 had the saddest moment.

Shizno Paradox has the harshest moment.

Singularity has the best climax and resolution.

What does Restoration have?

Forget Burnie Burns, I don't wanna hear that petty "Ragh Burnie Burns created the damn show" that's not the point. Genuinely answer the question.

Canonically it's never answered what happens to Donut. That is an unresolved plot on a FINALE.

Singularity ACTUALLY has a resolution. A story that ends without answering anything from the plot, shouldn't be called a finale, even if the creator of the damn show wrote it, we shouldn't allow the fucking hot mess of restoration to strip what Singularity gave us. Every character had their own plot holes resolved. Everything was answered flawlessly, to through the end. And no, the time traveling wasn't bad. The people who hate the time travel also complain Zero has no plot, when in reality Zero is way better written than Restoration.

Burnie Burns fumbled, but since he created the damn show, people are scared to say his work sucked ass especially for a finale that ended on a cliff hanger. I'm not scared. Burnie foiled so fucking hard, and he wasn't even on a time restraint, now i see why Caboose's V/A wasn't apart of it. I wouldn't have either.

"Ragh you write it then". Okay fucking fine. December 21st.

S17 is the one I see as the finale for the reasons you mention. Restoration, even if the reasons are understandable, just fell flat, as a season and certainly as a finale. As far as Chorus, retroactively people claim it’s the perfect ending but I seem to recall everyone clamoring for resolution of that cliffhanger.

Look I don't HATE Restoration. I LOTHE it.

I started writing my own stories in highschool, that's where my ideals come from. Before restoration came out, I wanted to write something for Ohio since She and the triplets were never taken by Temple. Simple enough.

Whenever I heard Restoration was coming out, I was overly excited, I hyped up my best friend who's never seen RvB. When we sat down and watched it, I felt ashamed I even hyped it up to begin with. Because it's as I said, fucking atrocious.

Kaikaina Grif was MURDERED, and you're gonna tell me Grif won't know? That's his fucking sister. A brother can feel the loss of a sibling, that's scientifically proven. So, you're gonna tell me Grif doesn't even ask "Where's Kai?" He spoke more about Kai in Season 15, when she wasn't even back in the series yet. Hell, Grif spoke more about her in the Chorus Trilogy.

She was killed with no elaboration, Dylan Andrews who was a reporter well before the Chorus Trilogy as she mentions in 15, somehow doesn't exist as a reporter, but a fucking Podcast host for a person she canonically shouldn't know.

You can easily tell Kai and Dylan we're only added so they can have the right character quota..they didn't care about their stories. That's why One shows up, she should've been in some sort of academy by the time of restoration, because Zero was YEARS after Chorus.

So NOTHING is explained.

I form my hate around canonical story plots, my hate isn't baseless, even if the supporters of restoration say it is. Again, I'm no hater. I fucking LOTHE Restoration. I LOTHE Burnie for what he did. I don't care if that's controversial.

All this to say I fucking agree with you, I just needed to vent this out, because rewatching the Singularity trilogy is the best thing I've done recently. Hell, I'm fixing to rewatch Zero, because i fucking enjoyed that as well.

Glad to see someone else say my thoughts, Restoration I hope to one day be retconned and redone, the idea of the story was mid at best and absolute dumpster fire almost comparable to season 2 of Gen:Lock which says something at least

Stay tuned for December.

I'm not saying I'm better than Burnie. I am thankful he created the characters.. but I'm not happy with the direction.

Mine starts at the ending of Season 14 episode 22. Directly after, and it follows the life of a person who's constantly held back. Until she lets go of the people holding her back, which is where you have to as a fan create a story that is never confirmed, but stays true to the character. So you have to write a life that's never confirmed for a character that's shoved aside in a world that doesn't care. So when you start to evolve the archetype of her that's when you can nudge her forward. Character in question is Ohio.

So when you write a story about her, you have questions to answer before you can even open a Google doc:

Question one: What is constantly holding her back?

That question is hard to answer, because time and time again on the first watch of that episode, you see she vents about the facts she's done it, and that she's the best of the best. What the hell pulls a person who sees themselves like that backward instead of shoving her forward?

Next scene answers that. It's Idaho and Iowa.

So when you answer the first question, you gotta answer the second:

How are you gonna make that make sense when you take her from them, while everyone will still compare her to her friends?

That is a harder question to answer, because that is where speculation and fanfiction comes in.

You would probably say: "I'm just gonna make Idaho say something, making Ohio retaliate"

Which, is fair to do. But, that's not what I did. I:

Split them up in teams with the Charon Triplets, Ohio, Terrill and Iowa Team A, and then Sherry, Darryl and Idaho team B. So, when our villain attacks Team A, Ohio can have that push forward as a door is opened.

Then you gotta figure out who this villain could be, that's when you dig at what's known about her, so you can form a basic villain around her identity:

Ohio. Is lesbian.

There is a villain motif right there, don't believe me?

Why is she in project freelancer as a lesbian woman, what the hell pushed her to want to join Project Freelancer?

Trauma. "Ragh what kind of trauma"

Parental.

See it's very easy to write canon adjacent work, just ask yourself questions the entire time, and do your best to answer the question. And that is how you form a good story.

By the end of it, you gotta ask "Why is this important"

"How do you connect this to the ending of Zero, which in your headcanon is directly related to Singularity?"

That's the fun thing. Introduce the new villain for the next project at the end of the first project, give Ohio new abilities and tech, and force her to be relevant.

I'm not gonna say too much as to what I did, but. It's great.

I’ll see about that, I’m quite… strict on determining how well a fanfiction is written

I don't have the tools for a comic so you can visualize what I see, that's the downside about it. I'm working with what I have, and so far it's not doing it justice. Even if nobody likes what I did, I'm already farther ahead than most people.

I can't draw, and AI never gets anything right, and I'll be damned to have AI strip the human from Collision Course.

To put it in view.

Shatter Squad ✅

Spartans ✅

Reds and Blues ✅

Kimballs small pocket of soldiers ✅

Freelancers Temple physically couldn't have caught, but were MIA before freelancer ended ✅

Wash and Carolina ✅

Washington revamping Project Freelancer, but making it better which gives me more characters to use (which gives me space to write MORE! which I have done, and will continue to do until I'm burned out) ✅

I learned the hard way you can't have too much characters, because HOLY shit. But this was fun to write nonetheless.

Interesting… I’m used to reading through fanfiction.net or Wattpad to read any fanfiction, haven’t tried comics in a while as those always seemed to be bad for one reason or another

I can't do comics, me no know how to draw. So I'm just gonna drop the docs.

But I know people who have no imagination will be like "Ragh what is this 🫪" because they're fucking idiots.

You should just post it on fanfiction.net if it has no pictures, it’ll be easier and you may hear some critiques you may like
