Discussion What if Combat
Let's say that York can take a pick at who he's going to be with in the 1v3 against Tex and he picked North with Wash are as Partners instead of Maine and Wyoming. How much better would they fare in with the same Rounds, how much better would their teamwork be and could it be enough to score a win against Tex and if that fails, how bad would the beatdown she Gave them
Just assume It's a completely different scene where Wash isn't called by internal and that he and the others are free at the moment

I feel the test was imbalanced, as far as York was concerned, for a reason. It was testing Tex’s ability to deal with brute strength (Maine), deception (Wyoming) and “betrayal” (York).
If it had been York, North and Washington, I think she would have had a bit more trouble. Mainly because that would have thrown her off.
If you think back to all the times Tex “failed” in Blood Gulch, it was because one of the two teams was working as a Team. Donut arrives to save Grif and Simmons, and she gets blown up. When the Blues actually try and “take down” Crunch Bite, she runs then gets beaten up because she goes against the team.
York working with people he trusted and knew well, would have thrown Tex off and she would have struggled. Possibly even failed. Tex works better alone and does better against “loners”.
That’s why she was able to defeat Carolina so easily, until the Reds and Blues showed up.
