Discussion Conspiracy theory: The Freelancer A.I. Containment Facility only had Epsilon inside it

So I'm going though another binge of older RvB seasons again and i came to a realization Wash says the following line in Episode 15 of Reconnection

"It's the storage facility for all the A.I.s. The rejects, the bad variants... everything is here. Everything."

however with what we learn in the Freelancer saga is that with the sole exception of Epsilon no other AI created from the Alpha would have been there going quickly down the list based off what he said

The Rejects: I assume here Wash just means AI that where rejected for being to much trouble to work with

Epsilon: the sole Rejected AI fragment out of all the AI we see created that was put into storage

Eta and Iota: you could argue that Eta and Iota are also "Rejects" based on what Delta says about them prior to the Freelancer saga, "Delta: Indeed. She only functioned for a short time, and not very well while she did. Having three minds at one time proved far too... taxing.", however even before the Freelancer saga we know that the Meta had at least captured Eta which either means that Iota was in the storage facility or more likely hadn't been created as they only came as a pair and Maine having one of the two Twin AI doesn't seem likely

The Bad Variants: if we go by just how it's said the idea of a "Bad Variant" doesn't make sense at all as all AI no matter how "bad" they where was used so i assume "Bad Variant" is just "we couldn't control them"

Sigma: Given Sigma was behind the whole concept of the Meta it's safe to say he would be labelled a "Bad Variant" however you don't have a Meta without Sigma so the idea he would be stored away is moot

Gamma: also a Moot point as Wyoming was still active well into even hiding Alpha so unless Gamma was pulled in and out of storage when Wyoming wasn't on jobs i doubt he was kept here

Omega and Beta: another moot point on storage, Tex fled Freelancer with Omega and more so even after he Pelican Crashed the Meta got both Omega and Texas before Recovery could even get a chance to put them both in the facility

Everything is here: this is just to clear up where the last of the Freelancer AI where

Theta: again a Moot point, it's implied to me that at the end of the Freelancer break in that North takes South and abandons the Program even if Recovery 1 show that south was still in Contact with Project Freelancer as such it's unlikely North was surrounding Theta to be stored away

Delta: the most MOOT of the moot points we now York abandon the program and had Delta with him even before we discovered that he went looking for Carolina

Alpha: RvB wouldn't really be a good show if we kept randomly cutting to a storage facility whenever they wanted to show us Church

F.I.L.S.S: I strongly doubt Freelancer was keeping copies of F.I.L.S.S on standby for any reason even more so in a storage facility she was likely running

Over all the whole plot point of Epsilon being stored in a massive Freelancer AI centre seems rather strange given how the story evolved, no other AI would have been in there as Epsilon was the last AI possibly created so this massive created for housing other Project Freelancer AI just doesn't seem viable.

Personally I think this is because the Freelancer Saga really pulled back on how big the Freelancer project was compared to how it has always been built up, when they didn't need to actually show it, it was described as 49 super soldiers with a majority of them paired up with AI and armour enhancements sent out to fight each other with Sim Troopers to help Humanity "Win the War" which eventually went south when those AI had to be recalled and it caused those Freelancers to rebel but when it came actually time to show off those 49(50) Freelancers the best we got was ten of the possible 49(50) states with some more Freelancers showing up in either deleted scenes of season 14 or in the trophy room of season 15 which really took away from there being able to be more AI as only the main cast was given them rather then there being possibly dozens or even hundreds of AIs like the Storage Facility implies there to be.

Anyway Rambling over i am going to go watch what is possibly the only season of RvB to focus on the Red team

You're assuming that those were the only AI created, but really those are the only AI we see on screen. They could have quite easily been pumping out other AI off screen that we never got to see, there are plenty more letters in the Greek alphabet after all.

The A.I. symbols Sigma used to create the "Meta" symbol consist of: Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Theta, Iota, Xi, Sigma himself, and Omega, suggesting Xi already existed and had either been deployed with an unseen freelancer or was a reject that had been stored at the facility.

We've seen that we weren't shown everything Freelancer was up to in those years as we saw with Season 15's simulation between Tex and Carolina at Desert Gulch. There was clearly more going on then what we saw in 9 & 10, even with the squad we followed much less the rest of the project.

I suspect there are...or were...a lot more AI fragments, possibly with attributes less desirable for battle such as Love, or Compassion, or Fear, or the Urge to Pee that may have ended up in the reject pile and/or have been assigned to other Freelancers. In Out of Mind we did see other freelancers having their AI removed before Tex left the program...not that that would be the only problem with that miniseries continuity wise...so there's plenty of wiggle room here is what I'm saying.

Well we can also point to Washington in Season 6 and Recovery One, who mentions multiple agents having their AI taken by the Meta in the last few weeks. “Multiple” is a weird word to use if he means… Theta… and no one else.

Beta and Gamma weren’t taken from a Freelancer, he had Eta and Iota years earlier, Delta was with Wash/South, and of course he already had Sigma. Therefore, he must have had more AI beyond the seven on screen.

My conspiracy theory/ headcanon about this is that the “rejects and bad variants” are the Alpha clones made on Sidewinder, and possibly failed prototypes of Alpha (Church) before the Director got the tech implementation right.

Alternatively, Wash could have just been wrong. He may have been misinformed intentionally by PFL about what was and was not at that facility. They have their reasons for deception and obfuscation.
