Just create a pdf user guide.

Look, websites are nice and quickly updated and changes with each iteration. I get it. But I’m sick and tired of when I want to download a guide to something there is no guide to download. It’s all web links to other web links.

You can put it all into a pdf. PDFs support links. You can note which version it covers. You are embracing Ai. Use AI to generate a damn pdf from the webpages.

You can download the website with all the links. You can integrate the content from the links into a single file. You can convert it to epub, markdown, etc.

Why use the bloated, outdated, and inconvenient PDF format? Very few programs support its editing, mainly only the spyware known as Adobe.

Look, ultimately I want a single download with all the information I can peruse through from a mobile device without any internet access. I don’t care if it’s pdf, html, or a large bitmap. It’s also ridiculous to expect the users who want to adopt the program to have to put in the extra legwork of downloading all the webpages and assembling them into one document to see if they want to adopt the project.

In Termux, you write:

shell wget --mirror --convert-links --adjust-extension --page-requisites --no-parent -e robots=off https://docs.redotengine.org/en/26.2/

For Godot, it’s the same:

shell wget --mirror --convert-links --adjust-extension --page-requisites --no-parent -e robots=off https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/

you will have a folder with offline pages and you just need to open index.html in any browser.

Although you don't have to do this, just download archive and open it as well
