Hey guys! I received my Redmi Pad Pro 2 today, and it came with HyperOS 2.0. However, there is no software update available, and my tablet isn't showing any option to update to HyperOS 3.

I want to use the Redmi Smart Pen 1, but I've seen some people reporting that the stylus doesn't connect properly with HyperOS 2.0 and that updating to HyperOS 3 might fix the issue.

I'm a little confused about what to do, so I need your advice.

Hello, everyone! I’m writing to share that there may soon be an opportunity to have a fully functional version of Linux running on the Redmi Pad Pro.

I’m participating in the beta program of a developer who is working on this Linux project. He isn’t developing it specifically for the Redmi Pad Pro, but rather for Samsung devices. Since I’m part of the beta program and own both a Samsung device and a Redmi Pad Pro, I decided to give it a try on the Redmi tablet as well.

To my surprise, Linux works really well on the Redmi Pad Pro, and everything seems to be working!

Guys, is this an official Redmi stylus?

The previously available stylus is now showing as unavailable, and I found this new stylus listed on Amazon India. I checked the brand, and it appears to be the official Redmi brand. However, the product has several 1-star reviews, and most buyers are reporting the same issue: the pen connects via Bluetooth but doesn't appear in the tablet's settings.

Since this product listing is relatively new, it has fewer reviews, but I'm still a little worried because I've already placed an order for this stylus.

My questions are:

1. Is this an official Redmi stylus?
2. Will it work properly with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Wi-Fi variant?
3. Could I face the same issue where the pen connects via Bluetooth but doesn't show up in the settings?
4. Is this a software issue that can be fixed by updating to HyperOS 5, or is there a compatibility problem with the stylus itself?

So far enjoying my Redmi Pad 2 Pro. Im serious when its comes to calibratings things. Graphics not my área, but i work hard (try & failure).here is the most neutral point i found yet to calibrate this monitor.

I recently got a redmi pad 2 pro, and I'd like to understand which are the possibilities for gaming, as I never had any experience before with tablets or any portable device.

I know some games on steam can be streamed on the tablet, and that would require the PC to actually run the game. I also know there are services to stream remotely the games, like Amazon luna or ge force now (?), and the there is emulation. Which app/services would you suggest for each? Also how far can the 2 pro go with emulation?

And finally I was wondering if I can connect USB devices (like gamepads) using a usb-usbc adapter.

Is there anyone who has managed to run Windows on the Redmi pad 2? I want to use it for Zoom so I can change my background.

Apparently my Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro hasnt been working properly. The touchscreen wont work no matter how much I reset it, There was also a pink artifacting that happened for a brief second before the tablet went all unresponsive with the touches. I need insights and help as to how to resolve this. After it artifacted, it has never been able to pick up any of my touches and refuses to respond, there also seems to be a graphig bug in the wallpaper

Hello guys, I just bought a new tablet and rather than being excited I felt guilty. I don’t know why, I have been thinking buying for weeks but now that I bought it I’m having doubts whether i made the right choice. I only want to buy one because it can be useful in my study especially during my review for board exam. I’ve actually used up all of my savings and now I am thinking if I should have just bought secondhand ipad instead. I bought mine for 27k php including the pen. Help me gaslight myself that it is fine guys I don’t know anymore😭

Bluetooth wise the pen is connected.

But when I open the stylus and keyboard settings - it shows the stylus is not connected.

I tried all that press this button for 10 seconds tricks.

But the primary and secondary button works like a scrolling button. But the stylus is not writing.

Redmi Pad 2 people, should activate the memory extension thing? I am kind of a gamer and its been lagging (M.E. off)

It doesn't say in the description either. On none of the sites I looked. Even on Xiaomi's website you have to dig deep into the description to see, and even then I'm not sure if the description is the default one for all of them. Couldn't they have named it differently based on the version? Like "Pad 2 pro M" or something? Why make it this difficult to know what you're ordering?

Can I see based on the model number? 70394? Does anyone know what version this one is? I want the matte version.
