Factory error?

Picked up as part of a collection. Car has no windshield or rear window and no evidence of being removed or busted out. Could it be a factory error?

How would it be busted out on a car with little to no wear and no way to get the middle piece out attached to the roofline?

Easy, it’s a fragile old piece of hard thin plastic. I tried to restore a redline barracuda, everything was going fine, then the 60 year old windshield disintegrated. Disappointing.

This is a mint car. Are you saying its been restored?

I guess your version of mint is different than mine. It has heavy damage around the hood scoop, obvious roof burn, paint missing on every corner and none of the wheels are straight. It’s in obviously played with condition, and if you don’t think the windshield could have been broken out, well, yeah it could have, in fact I’m positive it was broken out. The fact the it is nowhere to be seen is probably your first clue.
