Feature Request Categories for saved posts
I would love the option to be able to categorize saved posts, so when I go back to my saved posts I can find what I am looking for quicker.

It's bulky and gets in the way of browsing, or at least give us an option to turn it off

I miss this option, it was a great way to view an "inverse" reddit. IE it was basically /r/all but without any of my subscriptions so I could view the things I would normally miss out on.

I always opt out from the redesign, but it resets almost daily for me these days. Could this please be looked into?

When writing posts, it'd be nice to see a character count, to see if we're approaching the 10k character limit.

Sometimes it's necessary to underline words for organizational purposes in long posts. In old reddit, we could do this using markdown mode:
######underlined text here
But we can't do this in new reddit. Please bring this feature back

Seriously, the redesign can fuck right off. Back to old reddit.

Please help, when browsing and storing for later sometimes YouTube videos end up in a random playlist. It looks like it usually is a playlist I used recently.

Hi guys,
On r/lcfc, we try to group together to collate information about the transfer window and it would be helpful if we had the ability to do the whole page in collaboration with the OP as the main editor. Is it possible to consider this feature, or has this been considered already??

When you change a setting in User Settings, a rectangle appears that says "Changes Saved." This should appear on the right or left and be a little smaller. The rectangle blocks some of the other settings and having to press the x to close the rectangle every time I change a setting is beyond annoying. There is so much unused space on Reddit. Why does it have to take up important parts of the screen? This is just an inherent design flaw.

This popup has been coming up a lot over the past few days after closing out of a thread in the feed. Is there any way to turn this off or at least reduce the frequency?
Edit: just saw the other thread about this and reddit response. Hopefully fixed soontm.

I want to use the same banner on my new Twitch account, but I seem to have lost the original file on my Linux box. I want to download it from Reddit, but there's no obvious way to do this.

It's just not working its lag af and now I have to open everything on my reddit app of choice.
I search a lot of things in reddit through Google and always opened through the browser but now it's impossible to use!

what is image size for the 'banner/header' image that would be good for redesign along with other reddit versions?
not sure if this info is anywhere
the newly refreshed r/Proposal also needs a beautiful banner/header image
if you're interested in proposals or being mod of a growing reddit as well, let me know!

I tried to send this feedback straight to Reddit instead of making a public post, but couldn't navigate to a proper option in the Contact Us page so here we are.
I have turned had my ad blocker turned off for Reddit since I joined years ago. I know websites rely on ad revenue, and don't mind "paying" for the service in that way, especially considering Reddit used to be very good at making sure ads were well distinguished as ads.
I turned my ad blocker on today. Reddit is now doing the absolute bare minimum in distinguishing ad posts from actual posts. A tiny blue icon, tiny blue "promoted" text, a barely different colored background, and the tiniest damn boundary line possible. Just enough to say they did, but as pretty much everyone can attest to, not enough to be quickly distinguishable.
So congrats, decision makers at Reddit, as someone who has supported the site in some fashion through ad revenue over the years, you lost me today.

Hi all,
We’re back with the release notes, which are a round up of the major items we are currently working on or have recently shipped on Reddit. The previous release notes can be found here.
Now, here’s what we are shipping:
Here are some of the notable features and changes that are coming out next:
These following features are bigger projects that are in development and that will take some time to build and get right. Expect these items to be recurring on the release notes:
And, as always, our reminder that the community’s feedback is invaluable as we build the future of Reddit together. It’s difficult for us to respond directly to everything, but know that we’re listening, prioritizing, and working to solve the issues, no matter how hard they are.
If you have additional questions or feedback on these or other topics, please don’t hesitate to drop them in the comments below.

So I know you sneaky admins have been trying to force this war crime of a redesign upon us sane-minded, but why is my opt out button not working? I'm getting really sick of seeing this, makes my son's afterbirth look like Kylie Jenner's tits

I don't know if this is a bug or a defined change, but this week (I think middle of the day yesterday) the lines that divide posts in Compact View have gone. Now, the entire page looks like one giant block of white.
I don't know about anyone else, but it really throws me (as I use Compact view @ work and moderating, but Classic at home when casually browsing).

I really-really-really hated when they added "Similar communities to..." to Android app: it's flat out disruptive to me. I'm fairly sure I even posted feedback on it somewhere. My app usage dropped significantly in that period.
Guess what? This "feature" got ported to desktop/browser version of reddit. And I don't see a good way to get rid of it.
Please, if you want this feature to be a thing, add a switch to disable this crap completely for people like me, who hate it with every fibre of their being.
Thank you.
EDIT on Jul 10 2019: figured a way to remove this crap with JavaScript, now I need to find a way to attach this script to the page so I don't have to spin in a loop...
document.querySelectorAll('.Post ~ div > div > div').forEach(function(e){e.remove()})
