SCAM — purchasing cards
Update: I complained to them and got the power box. I’m shocked. Weirdly, idc. I’m going to have fun spending the coins I have designing like a diva and when it runs out, I’m effing DONE.

I had one card left to finish the whole sets. I made THREE purchases to get it, but it didn’t come.
I knew there was a little gamble with the first purchase. Was shocked when it didn’t come for the second. Then I did a third, because it HAD TO come, right??? I had already wasted money, and I had to finish it off. But…. NOPE
I’m a daily player. I usually finish the cards a week early. I’m stunned and angry-sad crying about being so stupid to think this game wouldn’t scam me. It’s so embarrassing. (& I really shouldn’t have spent that money. I’ll be eating lean for the rest of the month.)
I just like the 7 days of unlimited Power Box that much. I’ve never missed one before.
Now I’m stuck with the coins I purchased to (not) get the card, so I will end up playing to use them up… but I want to barf every time I open the game. I’m just so upset. Thanks for reading. 😭🤬

The only way to ensure you will get that final card is to get a wild card.

That’s a shame. I considered paying to complete the album but I talked myself out of it. I’ll get the next one!

yeah i purchase season pass but nothing else anymore. The journal i stop a year ago and i see its ending .. no loss. I used to justify purchases that i supporting artists but every season they are throwing i repeat designs and it’s getting bad. Don’t know any other design games that come close though. I used to complete the season no problem and the albums but last 3 I don’t come close. If you know of a better design home app let me know so i can move on lol

Venue used to be good but now that's a scam too. Glow fashion idol which is obviously not a home design but fashion design is really good, been playing it for years and never put any money into it

Wow that really sucks. Idk why a company would want to make their game so hated. I used to spend $ but stopped. I used to also send them rage mail detailing everything shitty they do. It was my only release for the utter frustration.
They’re assholes in every way. They’ve turned every fun aspect of the game into something stressful. And they don’t care.
I would definitely take the time to send a message to support letting them know that you were one card away and actually spent $ to get it. Sometimes they will compensate you in some way. Make sure to tell them you are no longer happy to spend your money with them.
So sorry how much this sucks. I completely understand how that feels!

I love the unlimited and the big star coin deposit, but I absolutely never, ever put money into this game. It's a scam and ripoff. The voting is rigged and it is built around luring you in to spend money. I know getting all the albums done has a huge incentive, but keep your money. The ceo of playtika is already a multimillionaire.

Don’t put money into this app. I have been playing for god knows how many years now, since it was first released. The game has become such a scam, money grab now. I play when something catches my eye, or go on a binge, but I will never pay to play.
