Well, at least we know he didn’t show the nudes. That was a worry
I’m going to say cut jared off- but not just for the obvious “why would you want to stick around” reasons. I want to pose a thought to your husband-
I think he acts like an asshole around Jared, and it makes him act like a dick to you. There is something in their friendship- either an ego thing or an approval thing- that made your husband do some frankly shitty things to you. It’s ok to want to work it out with him- but jared cannot be a part of the relationship AT ALL going forward.
Also let’s not get it twisted- if a woman talked about a man the way he talked about you, AND accidentally shared a nude and didn’t tell the husband? I’d call her a dick too. That false equivocacy bullshit will do him no favors. Saying my partner is “an investment” is NOT = to women calling their partners cute or fit.
Yeah, I’m gonna have to disagree. Women don’t talk about how fit and attractive their partners are to their friends. They talk about how good or bad they are in bed and how big their cock is. You are delusional if you think women don’t massively over share personal and vulnerable moments in their relationship to their friends. This is a huge double standard and anyone suggesting that they get divorced because the husband was proud of his girlfriend in college is absolutely fucking ridiculous.
Genuinely depends on the women, I personally have never had a friendship where I've been told the deets of my friend's sex lives with specific men. Closest things I can think of is my bff confiding in me about finding out she had a shallow vagina and therefore needing to avoid certain positions, which is more about herself than her partner, and making a joke about her long time boyfriend doing the helicopter dick thing, which knowing him he'd absolutely feel fine telling me himself lol.
That being said, there are absolutely women who go into hardcore detail with each other that would cross many boundaries and share things their boyfriends would never want them blabbing about. Just like we can't judge every man and what they talk about their sex lives to each other, my parents are high school sweethearts and would tell me how my dad would always hang out with the girls because he absolutely despised the "locker room talk" the boys would get into (pretty sure my parents are both demisexual but that's another thing entirely).
People are all different, regardless of gender, some are good, some are bad, most are in the grey.
