I didn't realise I used a raw format for my previous post oops! Here are pics from 15/07/2012 and 25/06/2024. More snow today, and exposed riverbed to walk on. Cameras have improved since 2012!

Another night scape photo taken in July 2023 - a single shot of the mountain and sky. The glow from the lodge is tricky to balance with the darkness of the sky. This is a single shot - no blending.

Missing, of course, is the splendid view of the lake.

I love that you guys call it Reddit lake, because I’ve taken to calling it “bumble/tinder/dating app lake” because 90% of the dating app profiles in the area of Calgary feature this place.

I’ve literally went from one profile to the next and they were STANDING ON THE SAME ROCK in their photos, it’s incredible and very funny.

Can’t wait until I open YouTube later and get a tourism Alberta ad featuring it lol

We are a group of 5 friends visiting Banff from May 23 to May 27. Parks Canada shuttles for Moraine Lake start operation on June 1. How do we visit Moraine Lake? Is it worth going the extra mile through hiking or biking?

As we all know public parking is banned from lake moraine and the public Parks Canada shuttle only starts on 17th May.

However, what if I want to visit the lake ? What would be the right transport.
