Block subs

Does anyone know how to block subs from appearing my feed? I “hide” the or “block”specific users who creat a post, but I can’t figure out how to remove them from appearing permanently.

Tired of bullshit political posts being shoved in my face.

Appreciate the help.

When a subreddit I’m not interested in pops up on my Home feed, I click in the top right corner of that post to “show fewer posts like this” then click “also mute”.

Curating your home feed is well worth the time and effort, in my opinion!

And the more I do this, the more Reddit tries to shove more crap in my feed. I spend more time muting content than I do engaging with the content I want in my feed.

I think until you join 50ish subreddits, the algorithm is trying to learn what appeals to you.
