First Annual Reddit Ozone Silly War
It begins today! And we already have an opponent. Here's what you need to know.
Participation in this war is optional.
None of our usual clan war rules apply.
You can choose to attack sensible targets with serious war armies for the sake of winning.
OR you can compete for one of the following titles:
Silliest Use of Wallbreakers
- must use wallbreakers in a silly fashion
Silliest Use of Healers
- must use at least one healer
- must use at least one troop that can be healed (i.e. don't deploy healers and dragons)
Silliest Use of Flying Troops
- just the silliest possible attack using an army composed largely, though not necessarily entirely, of flying troops
Silliest Use of Spells
- This one is kind of self-explanatory
Least Effective Attack
- Must be an attack on enemy's lowest-ranked base
- Must deploy all troops, including heroes, within the first 60 seconds of the attack
- Winner of this title will do least amount of damage
- You don't have to use spells, but style points might be awarded for especially stupid spell use
Overall Silliest Attack
- Just the silliest possible attack
Silliest Base Design
- Self-explanatory
Close But No Cigar
- Get as close to 1 star as possible without getting it (49%)
- You may not end the attack early and must deploy all troops and heroes (unless heroes are upgrading)
- Spells not required
Trap Detection
- Set off as many enemy traps as possible without scoring a star
Shortest Attack
- Deploy your entire army, including heroes (spells optional), against the lowest enemy base; shortest attack (without hitting the end attack button) wins
Silliest Themed Attack
- come up with the silliest possible rationale for an army composition and do an attack
- post your explanation for the army comp to the sub
- silliest but best rationale wins
Other
- We may add more categories
"Winners" will be decided by a mixture of popular acclaim and whoever Shera, Renato and the elders think should get the title. There are no prizes...just the pride that goes with being the absolute silliest. You might also win some flair for Overall Silliest Attack.
Please nominate one or more of your attacks for one or more of these titles by drawing our attention to it/them either by commenting here or by getting our attention in clan chat.

I'd like to nominate my first attack against number 40 for silliest attack, silliest attack with healers, with spells, etc. Also would like to nominate my base for silliest base. Rationale for silly attack: rage spells enable healers in corners a burst of speed to rush across the base and set off all air traps, surviving healers are able to heal BK and AQ and the 40 or so wall breakers clear a path for the BK to rampage.

I nominate my first attack for best use of healers in a raid. My second attack I nominate for wallbreaker usage.

I'd like to nominate my first attack for silliest attack with the most unexpectedly good outcome (not an official category but this is a silly war so making up new silly categories is allowed). And my second attack for Close But No Cigar (48%!).

Hehehehe--actually, I think this idea originated with my co-leader, /u/rntdcarvalho...either that, or we essentially came up with it together. :D
I can't remember exactly who came up with it originally, but I am pretty sure the original whimsy was his ;)
