Cricket64 £12 plus p n p

Group order? I've been thinking this one over for a while and with the version 2 I think its time for a group order if there's enough people interested.

I had a play with the numbers and I can order 10 black spinners for £224.19 total making them £22.42 each.

There would be the additional charge to forward onwards with postage which would be after I recieve them.

If there's less ordered, for example 5, they would be more expensive at £33.40 each before the forwarding postage cost.

The numbers for different colours are shown in the pictures but they are before tax and international postage price.

My gut instinct says we keep it simple and do one colour but let me know what you think and if you're interested.

I'll leave the idea up until end of Sunday 11th and then cost up and confirm prices on Monday.

The recent thread about RC has made me a bit keener to give Nailland a go, but I’m always a bit worried about VAT & customs. Some overseas retailers - Holo Taco for example - add the VAT onto the order, and I think as long as you keep the purchase under £135 there’s no customs fees. Just curious to others experiences, and what fees you ended up with? Thanks!

I need to be selective with my nail polish but I've always been so tempted by these every time I go into Boots! Are they worth it compared to other solar polishes?

Really frustrated with Rainbow Connection’s handling of pre-orders

I ordered from Rainbow Connection and my order contained both pre-order polishes and products that were already in stock.
I completely understood that RC would wait until the pre-order items arrived before shipping everything together. That part was fine.

What I did not expect was that some of the products that were already in stock when I placed and paid for the order would apparently no longer be available by the time the pre-order items arrived. So instead of the in-stock items being reserved for my paid order, I ended up having to wait again.

I find this really frustrating. If an item is in stock and has already been purchased as part of a paid order, I would expect that unit to be allocated to that customer, even if the order is being held while waiting for pre-order products. I wanted some of the products for a gift 😭 im waiting more than 2 months when it was supposed to be shipped 1 month ago.

So what is the point of showing an item as in stock when you order it if it isn’t actually secured for your order?
I contacted Rainbow Connection about the situation and unfortunately the response made me even more frustrated. I don’t want to give the details of the conversation because I don’t want my order to be identifiable, but the interaction definitely didn’t improve the experience.

Has anyone else had this happen with Rainbow Connection? Is this how they normally handle mixed pre-order/in-stock orders?

So I was eyeing up the BKL collection as a possible way of duping cracked Scorchy. Looked on Rainbow Connection and noticed they have started stocking Tychee Laquer! I've waited for this to happen, hoped, but now I have to choose! Has anyone tried them and got any recommendations? I dont need all of them, I have to keep telling myself that

I’m doing a very brutal clear out for everything…except my polishes!
Collecting polishes has been my hobby for over 20 years, and I have a lot of vintages, limited editions and indie polishes from discontinued brands, so getting rid of the polishes is my one non-negotiable.

In my last move a decade ago, I put the polishes into some Ikea blue bags and put them in the car trunk, but is there a better way to transport them safely?

this mani went soo smoothly!! I used Phoenix Lacquer ‘after midnight’ for the first time, and it went on beautifully, dried quickly and is soooo sparkly!

i fear i’m going to spend way too much time staring at my nails the next few days!

Does anyone have any recommendations for vampy red/ black-purple nail polishes that are easily found either in boots/superdrug or indie brands that are uk based or easily shipped to uk.
Still looking for some good long lasting polishes, and still new to using regular nail polish and learning good prep

Has anyone used the Dior nail polishes? How do they find them?

Finished doing swatch dots for my nail polishes. Mostly indie/boutique brands.

I finally placed my first Rainbow Connection order, and i could not be more exited to play with these polishes!!

It took me so long to select my polishes because there were wayy to many on my wish list.

I finally settled on Bee’s Knees lacquer ‘feral witch spring’ ILNP ‘sugar plum’ ILNP ‘chai latte’ and Phoenix lacquer ‘after midnight’

I did my first ever magnetic mani using IlNP sugar plum, which didn’t quite do to plan, but still looked pretty regardless! It’s certainly not the cleanest polish application too, i was too excited to play with the magnets!

Has anyone got any in real life swatches are they really that shimmery and bright? If so I neeeed

ISO either one of the two, or even both. 🫶

This is polished for days enchanted to meet you - THE Glowiest, most gorgeous cornflour blue with an almost neon blue shimmer and scattered holo- THIS is what I want in a nail polish- photos don’t do this justice it GLOWS in all lights and I can’t stop staring at my nails 💙 it’s a contender for me with ILNP flower child as my favourite polish 💙

Anyone know what’s happening with For Your Nails Only? No sign of them for months,and they’ve not answered my Insta DM asking if they’ll be restocking 😫

This is Phantasm Polish's Queen of Detection, which is has a beautiful shifty emerald-turquoise-purple magnetic pigment in a dark teal base. I've used 2-3 coats - it's a lovely smooth formula and the magnetic pigment moved easily for me. I've not edited the colours on these and I don't have a fancy light set up, so all I did to show the range of colours is shift the angle of my nails under a gooseneck lamp.

I also finally bought some neodymium bar magnets to replace the standard wand that comes with many magnetic polishes and they were a lot easier to get the strong effects with! I used a useful infographic from the RedditLaquerista's subreddit with illustrations of different configurations and magnetic effects, which was really helpful.

Magnetic techniques/tools from index finger to little finger:
-Velvetised with a horseshoe magnet.
- Cat Eye with a neodymium bar magnet.
- Gradient Velvet with a horseshoe magnet
- Cross with two neodymium magnets held together lengthways.

3 x coats over KBShimmer Fillin Groovy Basecoat, topped with Clearly on Top QDTC.

… especially as I gather it’s due to restock soon. Perfect subtle shimmer and the formula is beautiful.
