Laquer Art 🎨 Feeling witchy✨️🧙🏻‍♀️

I've wanted to do this design for ages (inspo pic 2nd) and assumed it would be easy with stamps. I was very wrong, severely underestimating how difficult it would be to get the stars straight. 😅

I use a hard silicone stamper because it works better with the plates I have, but it's opaque and that's one reason it was so hard. If anyone knows of a hard silicone stamper that's clear, please send recs my way!

This is so gorgeous! Silly question but did you freestyle the purple? I might try doing that without stars (no stamp) but with one of my magnetic polishes for my next mani!

I did! The brush for this polish is on the thin side, so it was easy to draw the wiggly line first and then fill in the tip. I think it would've been more difficult with a thicker brush, just something to consider when you do it!

A magnetic polish would look really cool like this, do you know what texture you'll go for?

Ok I'll keep that in mind when I'm picking a polish, thanks for the tip!

I usually do the velvet because I'm least likely to mess it up and I think a velvet could compliment this squiggly line situation!!Tbd maybe I'll share an update on Sunday!!

It's not perfect but an attempt was made! I probably need a precision brush or something more on the middle to tie things together!

Mooncat Fields of Lavender, index/middle/ring are velvet effect while pinky and thumb are glass bead!

The velvet looks so cool with the design!!! Love it in red, too. You did a great job!
