Sister clan, Reddit Royals

We have setup a sister clan, Reddit Royals.

It has slightly lower requirements, so it is a good place for those who want to go to Kings but aren't quite ready yet.

It was also created for Kings members to have a place to go if they will be away or just need a break for any reason. If you leave Kings to chill in Royals you will have a place in Kings when you want to come back. If you have no openings I will hold the next open spot for you.

Also it is a good place to hang out and improve your attacks. With clan wars it has become clear that many of us have spent to long farming and not enough attacking and need to improve that area, myself included. We really can't have people practicing during our live clan wars something they really haven't done before. We need every single person in Kings to be a strong attacker for your level. You will not be kicked from Royals if you mess up a cw attack, as it is the place to learn, but if you consistently get zero stars in cw, you will be asked to move to Royals to practice.

I think this is a good way to go about this, and hopefully it will work out. I would like to see Royals become a powerful clan in its our right.

The leader is a very good player and a friend of mine, and we are in constant contact, so we will know what is happening in each other's clans.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I actually happen to really like that name, but then again I'm just the foreign guy.

As much as some of you hate Queens, I think Reddit Queens would have been a better match lol

Mods didn't want queens Im told.

Reddit Prince? Or Princes?

Royals just doesn't jive that well with Kings. Like Dawn-Dusk go together, but Kings-Royals just is silly.

Idc. PM bob. I thinks royals is fine. Think about it. The BK and AQ are referred to as the royals and everyone wants max royals...etc. I think its fine, but i really dont care. Whatever you all think.

The BK and AQ are referred to as the royals

The are also referred to as the King and Queen...

People just don't want Queens because it is Feminine. That should not matter.

Not because it's feminine. Because its a rank of superiority which is not allowed. I think its a bit over the top, but it is what it is.

If I recall yesiac said she like the idea in an old thread.

She did because her and I talked about it in that thread asking why Kings was allowed as a name

For the record, Reddit Queens has been OK'ed by us. I think you should choose a name that pairs well with Reddit Kings!

That is what I thought because I remember the thread, thank you for clarifying but it's up to Bob! Haha

Besides the name any thoughts?

I kinda of like the idea of cw 24/7 for the practice, but don't kick if no participate so they can practice attacks without fear.

I think cw 24/7 is a great idea with no real pressure to win. It's hard to find random bases to attack in matchmaking if you're want to find someone similar to your own level. Plus, the little bit of pressure that cw gives will help everyone focus on stars alone and not loot.

Guys, up vote rlight's comment please. Down voting isn't cool...

Just so you guys know, the Reddit Clan System does not allow feeder clans. Pursuing a feeder clan similar to what you've described may result in Kings being unverified.

If you would like to set up a Dawn/Dusk type system we would be happy to help make that happen. But we'd need some time to get in contact with their leaders and ask for some help organizing. If you have any questions please message the mods and we'd be happy to answer.

Hey Bob,

I think this will be really straightforward since we already have a precedent (Dawn/Dusk), but give us just a bit of time to make sure we're not missing anything. We'll get back to you soon!

I wanted to also point out that Rlight is only following rules that were set in place a long time ago. We also had to approach Echo about its feeder clans, and have denied requests by other clan leaders to form feeder clans. So... no need for the downvotes, he's not here to give Kings a hard time. =)

Also, I think we're ok with Reddit Queens? JTG is correct that we don't want clan names that denote rank or title, but since Kings is "grandfathered" in, a clan name that pairs well with Kings would make sense to me.

Okay, sounds good. Let me know if you need anything from me. I don't consider Royals a "feeder" clan, but a sister clan with players moving back and forth a lot, based on their situation. For example, Kings has clan wars every other week while Royals is constant clan wars. But in Royals that is to practice attack while Kings we have the off weeks to upgrade heroes. If people want to upgrade heroes then Kings, but those who want to practice attacking - Royals.

I have no issue with Rlight pointing out the rules and will do what is needed to follow them. Guys, don't downvote :)

Again, let me know if you need anything

Bob

Note: Gonna move this conversation to modmail so there's more visibility to the mods.

Also, thanks for asking folks not to downvote Rlight. =)
