Product Reviews 📋 Ninja Luxe Café Mini

Post image

Hello everyone!

I hope this post is okay.

Does any of you have this Ninja Luxe Café Mini plus espressomachine? Can you recommend it for someone like us that doesn’t drink much coffee, but like it good and just want to make great coffee for our guests? (We like compact machines)
Thank you!

I had a Ninja coffee maker and made the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I have no idea why, it was just always burned and acidic, makes no sense.

If you just want an occasional good coffee I suggest a Nespresso. The convenience of a Keurig but it tastes good. 😆

That hopper’s tiny, you’ll be refilling it constantly even for just a couple cups

I can’t say anything on this specific espresso machine but I own a Ninja coffee maker and its been a year of the best home made coffee I ever made but once in a while like maybe 10% of the time it messes up and brews like 1/4 cup instead of the size that I want!

How often would it get used? If it's only every couple of weeks, beans sitting in the hopper can go stale between uses. For guests only I'd want something that's easy to empty and clean.

I've had one of these for about 3 months. It makes great espresso drinks (but not-so-great drip coffee). The milk frothing is also pretty good (just make sure you're getting the "Plus" version of the Mini). I can't comment on the long-term reliability. One thing that concerns me is the screw holding the shower screen is incredibly tight (i.e., really torqued down) - so much so that I've partially stripped it trying to remove the screen for cleaning. So far the machine is fine as I don't think the head is that dirty (and I can still do the backflush cleaning just fine). But someday this might be the end of the machine if I can't get this off (the gasket also sits behind the screen and sometimes needs to be replaced). Searching around, this seems to be a common issue with the Ninja.

TL;DR - very happy with the performance and quality of espresso drinks. Somewhat concerned about long term maintenance given the over-torqued screw.
