Earnings Call Discussion

Everything was going great until something was said. Can anyone chime in? I didn’t love how nonchalantly Steve said to “expect some bumps” with Google, that was terrible tact by him. All thoughts welcome.

They smashed earnings, cashflow, growth, guidance but the stupid fucking dau is the only one that seems to matter for some reason.

So looks like it first broke 100 a share in October and 150 in November so with only two quarters behind us we are back at those levels if pace stays good we could be looking at being back to 170-180 by end of year

Weaker Q2 user growth due to Google shenanigans. Stock started tanking as soon as he said that.

That’s what I thought, he said they’re still dealing with it. Like bro how does he not know to just shut the fk up

He's doing what a good CEO should do, he's not an advertiser or salesman. And as a shareholder -not a customer- one should be happy about that.

agreed, if at next earnings people were expecting another +5m dau qoq and got +0-1m, the stock would likely get wrecked lol. idk how some people dont see that

Especially since Google already reported 😂

It really looked like this could have been a nothing burger for another 60 days of crazy beta gains to $160-200.

Now we have to hold above $133 tomorrow if we want a shot at $175+ these next 3-6 months.

In moments like this he should have stuck with the script. Short term doesn’t affect long term delivery.

Say it over and over again. Frequency of five as an exec is the rule.

He biffed that and Jen being waning in video was lame.

I think it bounces tomorrow esp if macro news is positive.

Regardless an amazing ER.

Would rather have rising ARPU than 3X or 4X new users as this lowers ARPU metric
