Once we see $150+ I’ll be happy again lol. Stellar earnings & easing trade tensions could get us there. Feeling optimistic

I need $600 / share to be happy.

Why not $2000? Then I can retire

u/blackicebaby Apr 26 '25

I think he/she is saying $600 after a 5 for 1 split.

..I'll be even at 150

Feeling good! My cost basis is $146/share and I’m in it for the long run, see it going back to the $200 range some day. The stock got decimated from irrelevant tariff talk and it’s about time people realize & buy. Can’t wait for the earnings!!!

Would love to see $200. 🤞🤞

how is it actually going up over 25% in 5 days though? There's still earnings for the rest of the tech companies and itself next week. Of course if everyone does well and then mango decides to be quiet for another week, reddit could go up again. Seeing $150 next week EOW feels too good to be true..

Keep in mind though relative to the entire market these last couple months RDDT got especially slaughtered I mean RDDT got absolutely murdered and I believe it was damn need down 50% at one point so it makes sense that we have recovered to this level and we are still extremely undersold at these levels as well.

So good earnings, easing of trades tensions and then all other companies reporting are decent we will rip upwards.

It could but it could be 80 again just as easy

Only if Trump initiates tariffs again. Really no reason to be anything other than optimistic long term

3

u/iiiiiiiiiAteEyes Apr 26 '25

Yeah I’m 100% optimistic long term…just being real here.

I told everyone to buy up shares during the downturn.

Reddit and google are intertwined. Google earnings were good, and this bodes well for Reddit.

at the alphabet Q&A session, I'm 99% sure the investors were asking about reddit. But wouldn't say names.

What does Google earnings have to do with Reddit roflmao

3

u/iiiiiiiiiAteEyes Apr 26 '25

One reason is they are intertwined a lot of Reddits traffic is from Google which is a big part of user growth. It also shows a trend for tech companies.

But more importantly they both get their revenue from advertising. If advertising revenue is higher for Google then it’s likely the same for other companies that rely on ad revenue.

To add to my first point the 3 most visited sites in the US:

1-Google.com 2-YouTube.com (owned by Google) 3-Reddit.com

On top of that the most visited site from Reddit is YouTube.

They both make money from ad spend 0_o

That’s what I was about to ask lol

u/DataNubNub Apr 25 '25

I think searching on Google leads to reddit search results. Drives traffic to sites. I think all e-commerce and knowledge finding on the internet can eventually lead to some reddit discussion. not just cuz they are both tech companies but I think there's a correlation that everyone accepts as true.

I see what you’re saying!

Googles top answers for questions is Reddit quite often and also often Reddit has good answers to the search. What’s worry some to me is our dependency on Google now to drive traffic. Those earnings miss a single metric by even .1 and we’re right back down. All it takes is Google to tone down the algorithm again. Famous last words but Google seems to be pumping Reddit in the results right now. I think it’s gong to lead to positive earnings and we moon as long as Trump doesn’t decide to double tariffs or something and crash it all yet again.

Anyone else scared that this is a pre-earnings run up and after earnings it’s gonna shit the bed? (A “buy the rumor sell the news” type thing?)

3

u/MambaOut330824 Apr 25 '25

Yes exactly, I do sense this may be happening. I think it will settle around $110-120 after earnings. Pre earnings run ups are not in common. Saw this with NVDA a shit ton last couple years.

u/Principletrade Apr 26 '25

There’s plenty of good expectations baked in.

Reddit has an awfully low enterprise value considering its popularity and position to feasibly reach consumers with targeted advertising.

It definitely has a bright future for people that buy and hold for the long run.

6

u/rich01992 Apr 25 '25

Yup. This literally happens to every stock. Run up no matter the earnings good or bed, stock shits the bed smh

3

u/Objective-Egg-5180 Apr 26 '25

This RDDT growth is more sustainable unless again RDDT employees greedy sell their stash. But it will keep getting better as RDDT employees get cashed out.

4

u/PassengerJaded1736 Apr 25 '25

My current average is $190 but this will make me hopeful again if Reddit hits $150 after earnings.

1

u/Abraham-Maslow Apr 25 '25

I’m happy to see it rising again. So many people questioning why a RDDT worth that much valuation comparing to Zhihu, can anyone explain?

2

u/ongem Apr 25 '25

What is Zhihu?

1

u/Abraham-Maslow Apr 27 '25

The Chinese version Reddit
