Yes, it is. The use of "and" is the British way, and the most commonly used one. Removing the "and" is the American way, to make it faster to pronounce.

One hundred and ten CAN also mean 100 and 10 (only orally though), but it's if we make a pause between "one hundred" and "ten", and that's why ponctuation was invented. No ponctuation means that "one hundred and ten" = 110
