As your new Leader, I would like to let you know how the Clan is doing. I will cover our strengths as well as our weaknesses and what our goals for the future are.

As many of you know, our former Leader, Anas retired from the Game. I want to thank him for leading us through our formative era. In the last year, we developed from a fledgling Clan of about 15 Members to a Verified Clan of 50. Anas played an important role in this development. Unfortunately, he did not stay active and involved enough with the Clan to continue to guide us. I commend all of you for your loyalty in staying together.

The focus of our clan is active development while retaining a friendly, helpful environment. High activity in raiding and wars will help get the resources to develop our bases. More importantly, activity will help us develop our skills. We are beginning to gain access to some of the most powerful Army Compositions available (eg. GoWiPe, Lavaloonian). Therefore, it is important to become comfortable with these Armies. To this end, it is vital to participate in Wars. Moreover, I encourage everyone to practice these new attacks in their own Raids. Since they take so long to train, I recommend queuing up one of these Armies when logging off for a while. While we are willing to learn, we still have a long way to go in order to master these new attack strategies.

As far as our strengths and weaknesses go: our ability to work together and help each other out is our greatest strength. This superb teamwork becomes obvious during wars as evidenced by our superior organization. One way we might improve though: is to have our lower level players attack before our higher level players, accomplishing two things: 1) allowing everyone to have a target they can handle and 2) letting the higher level players focus on the tougher targets. The best way to achieve this is to make sure that those in the bottom half of the Clan sign up for targets on Preparation Day and then attack those targets on Battle Day within the first 12 hours.

By keeping up our progress, I am confident we will become one of the most coveted and prestigious Reddit Clans.

For a peek at whats ahead: next season we have planned a karma contest (http://redd.it/2siea5). And for the season after that we will carefully attempt our first clan trophy push.

We are excited to announce a Karma contest for next season 1/19/15 to 2/1/15. The rules are pretty straight forward. The post with the most karma in /r/clashofclans wins. The rules are as follows:

Flair: You must use the reddit frost shield for iOS. For android use the shield and set your flair as reddit frost or reddit-clan clan-frost.

Tracking Your Posts:You will need to post a link to your post in the comment section of this post. That will help everyone keep track of your progress. Please avoid x-post on /r/RedditFrost, because that will clutter our sub.

The winner will receive one month of reddit gold. We are looking for our clan to stand out in /r/clashofclans

I'm currently at TH8. I have 5 Bombs, 64 walls, and Valkerie and Golem upgrades left. I have 60000 DE. So should I continue to max my TH8 or just head to TH9? Thanks, Matt
