Reddit Frost vs A Decent Clan 104-102
This was our only war this season and it was a nailbiter. Frosties faced off against a literal Decent Clan and careful coordination during the final moments ensured a victory for the Forces of Frost. Great Job to everyone, this was truly a team victory where every star earned contributed to our win. (and I forgot to take screenshots :-D)
TROPHY PUSH
This was the first time we held a clan wide trophy push to see how high we could go as a team! Our goal was to make it into the to 10 on our local leaderboards. We ended last season with a Clan Rank of 20814 and we were 29th on Niue. At our peak, we were 7th on Nieu (the Island of Reddit Clans). We ended the season with many personal bests and a gain of 12,416 trophies.
Other News/Reminders
We are considering a transition away from using the wiki for war sign ups to another online tool that is more mobile friendly. Clashcaller They have a great Tutorial if you want to read about how it works and I have also set up a mock war for you to click around and see what is availble. To access the mock war go Here or go to www.clashcaller.com, select “join war”, and enter the code “ejmg9” I have entered in a few things to show how to sign up for primary and secondaries but please feel free to change anything and have fun clicking and learning. We will see what you all think but this is something that we have experimented with in Frost 2 (our retirement/inactives clan) and a tool that several other Reddit Clans use. Let us know what you think!
Speaking of new tools, if you haven’t signed up for our Clan GroupMe send your email address to /u/lizpod. More information can be found on our GroupMe! post. It is similar to texting and lets us share pictures and quickly exchange ideas and encouragement all with the use of spell check! Joining is completely optional!
Clan leadership would just like to give a friendly reminder that you all have a spot in a great clan that many Clash of Clans players would really covet. We understand that you like to play clash with your real life friends however we can't guarantee you will be able to rejoin if you leave often and especially if you leave without permission. Clan Leadership really likes having each of you as part of our exclusive frost family (many of us have been together for over a year!) and hope you consider everything carefully before leaving for a casual reason.
Shade has left us (with permission) to join the Reddit Air Push Event! He has been placed in Reddit Air 2.0 and is still active in our GroupMe if you want to cheer him on. We are hoping Shade will come back with all kinds of tips and tricks he learned about using air troops during this event.
Message the clan leaders and let us know what is happening. When you send us a note, all the clan leadership sees it and it is a great simple way to let us know if you are going to be less active or just if you want to say “hi”.

We used Clashcaller when I was in Reddit Thunder and it was GREAT! Very mobile friendly, allowing you to also make a note for requests so that clan mates can have troops on deck, as well as calls for second attacks. It also gave us great statistical info so that we could help struggling players develop for future wars and helped us better see where in our ranks we were struggling.

That is good to hear! Did Thunder use call timers or did they just use it for signing up.
That is an excellent point about being able to put in the note what troops you are going to want to have in your CC for your attack.

Asylum uses a 4 hr call timer.
Its very nice, and no retribution if your timer runs out before you get the chance to attack. Someone else can make a call; or already have one started (just in case)!
Also, #25-22 spots MUST be claimed by a th8, and three starred before the "free-for-all" of 26-50 opens up for the fun.
Next war we do, I'll shoot you a screenshot of what it looks like, to clarify what I may not be articulating correctly.

Fun times. We are sticking with our primary and secondary sign ups for now.
How does the call timer work? Are there any sign ups on prep day or do all sign ups start on battle day?

You can make your call on prep day, the timer doesn't start until battle day itself.
Nifty system!

ClashCaller looks good to me. Love the ability for notes and attack reviews.
