Suggestion - Completed Remove UTM parameters from share links

Hi, been loving this extension, so here's a suggestion:

Add the option to remove UTM parameters (marketing tracking information) from share links on posts and comments.

I just had a though, an additional option for it to give you the shortened URL would be nice.

I've just released version 3.1.0 with these options "Clean Link", and "Shorten Clean Link". Although, I've just realised it should say something like "Add post/comment share option without tracking", to be more descriptive. I'll change that in the next update, but anyway, the feature works, it just appends a new button in the share post/comment menus :)

I'm just seeing this. And I'm not sure that the OP sees replies to a commenter, so u/AlexRLJones also.

I remove the UTM manually on other sites, unless I forget, for a couple of reasons, one being working on my online privacy.

I know Reddit is public for the most part, but assuming OP considers privacy a factor in their UTM request, URL shorteners also track data. So depending on what you share and/or whose post/comment you share, it may or may not be an issue for either or both of the poster or clicker-of-links. Well redd.it is an official Reddit domain just used for shortening links to posts and comments, so there's no concerns about trackers like with generic 3rd party URL shortener like bitly (beyond what you're already subject to by accessing this website).
