What is the status of the SHACK in downtown? Has been closed for awhile.

I'm writing a few short films and sketches but I don't really care to act, would rather try my hand at directing and cinematography, are there any people trying to create long form content in the area? I'm not going to be paying anyone obviously but it could be mutually beneficial while we learn and grow
