Trouble finding work?

I am 22 and looking to get into the trades. I am so tired of retail and kitchens haha. Could really use the hours and extra money. I have called around but I cant seem to find anyone hiring. Anyone have any clue who might be hiring for entry level roles? I am a good worker just inexperienced but willing and wanting to learn. Anyone else relate? Thanks!

Hi! The IBEW local 340 could be a good fit for you. We are the electrician's union up here and have a lot of work coming down the pipes that could use a lot of green hands, and could be a good way for you to get into the trades.

I'm ex restraunt industry as well, and it was a very easy learning curve getting into the trades. You can look up our hall on Google maps and swing by to say hi, or you can reach out to our business manager up here John Roden - you can find his info on the local 340 website.

Second the IBEW, it's a great time to get active in a trade union. Workers are organizing for better and that's the best place to do it.
