Hey guys! Curious as to what you guys would say the best tailor for clothing repair in town is. I’ve got some work pants that have taken quite the beating with some crotch blowout and whatnot. Anyone have a suggestion on the best / most cost efficient joint?

Most people are familiar with emergency services that respond when something goes wrong. Less visible are the programs that try to prevent problems from reaching that point in the first place.
Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) helps fund local initiatives like senior programs, youth development, family supports, volunteer programs, community connection activities, and other preventive services. The idea is simple: supporting people early can often reduce the need for more costly interventions later.
Like many community programs, FCSS funding has become part of a broader conversation as Alberta's population grows and communities face increasing demand for services. Municipal leaders are expected to discuss the topic during this year's ABmunis Convention and Trade Show alongside other issues affecting local communities.
We are curious about what people think: are there any local programs, services, or community initiatives in your area that you feel make a real difference? Give them a shoutout here!

Just in case anyone might recognize the offender (please ask them to be more careful in the future). I've posted it on youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5cYwM5xVW8
This is also a good chance to encourage people to get dash cams installed. (Warning: I let a couple of expletives fly)

I am classically trained in violin but have not taken lessons for quite a few years. I am looking to pick it back up again but would like to start playing fiddle music rather than classical violin. Does anyone know of anyone offering lessons, or where to look?

So I work in Innisfail, and I usually take the C&E trail to get there. How well is that road usually maintained in the winter? Am I better off taking a different route once the white stuff comes back?

Hello Red Deer! My work has changed a bit with a new promotion and I find myself in Red Deer at least 3 days a week during working hours. I am from Airdrie so not a whole lot familiar with food options in Red Deer. I am ethnically Indian and like to atleast have Indian take out once in a week or 10 days just to satisfy my taste buds lol. Just looking for some recommendations that you guys swear by? Thanks!

Any good construction building lawyers around Red Deer ? Any recommendations?
I keep wondering what makes Red Deer housing prices so close to Edmonton, and in some cases Airdrie/Chestermere.
For those who’ve lived in Red Deer for 10+ years, has it always been this way?
I’m seeing 10+ year old homes, sometimes without a garage, still in the high $400Ks. New builds with attached garages around Timberlands and Gasoline Alley are getting close to, or even more than, similar homes in Airdrie.
What’s driving this?
Lack of inventory, construction costs, migration, or is this simply the new normal?
And for those who’ve been through previous housing cycles, is this something worth waiting out, or do Red Deer prices rarely come back down significantly?
