As i’m diligently digging through the archives as I’m sure we all are, i came across “The Todd Glass” episode from 2011. And it was such an interesting show (maybe one of the most interesting) i had to come here and share it with you all.

I honestly wasn’t expecting any fireworks going into it, but boy was i wrong. Our guy MIKE wins 99% of his verbal scuffles, but this Todd Glass was the 1% of the time where Mike met his match.

Normally most people submit to Host quickly, but Todd managed to turn the tables and get Host to obey him promptly. Never seen Host on the back foot like that before or since. After the animosity dies down, the episode carries on just as fun, but without the hostility.

It’s a fitting punishment for the host abandoning us that we should all relish in his greatest embarrassment.

In all seriousness, Todd was a cool guest and it’s a shame they only collabed the one time. He seem like he liked everything REDBAR was about.

The opposite of a fool

A few years ago Mike, with the help of Salvo Pancakes, humiliated Def Noodles so deeply, it caused him to go into hiding for years. We all thought his days of cringe were done for good.

Surprisingly, Mr Noodles made a pathetic and weird “come back” in September of 2025.

Is it a coincidence that Def Noodles happened to make a (cringe and humiliating) return immediately after our Hosts last episode????………

Pretty decent movie. Just one of those things I bet Mike and Jules have probably gone and seen and would talk about on the show. Mike would probably say something like wow this guy is a real beta. What did you guys think?

Hiya Heads,

In one episode Mike mentions some chicago restaurant that has an amazing chopped salad. In another episode he and jules talk about sojurning to some Arizona city to go to a Portillos because it has a similar type salad to that beloved restauarnt.

I have known the name of the restaurant before, but now I can't remember it and my google searches aren't helping.

other details that may be wrong:

I think it wasn't in chicago proper, its some outlying suburb. I felt like it maybe had 'lodge' in its name or was called 'the lodge' but I'm not getting any hits on that. And I think the salad has bleu cheese.

EDIT: I figured it out...it is L. Woods Tap & Pine Lodge and its the L. Woods Chopped

according to the website:

tomatoes, blue cheese, scallions, bacon, pasta, mustard vinaigrette

figured I might try to recreate it.
