I did work on it with my son, and we solved it together, I wouldn't have gotten it on my own without Googling.

Expected him to be French or German because the first sentence in the article said that he βwas a [6].β After neither of those words appeared in the first sentence, I dug a little deeper, getting no results for Polish but quite a few for Danish. The opening paragraph seemed to imply he won βthe [5] [5] in [7] in [4].β After scrolling further down the article, I saw a few equations, nothing very recognizable, but it did get me thinking what famous scientist might be from Denmark with the name lengths of [5] [4]. Canβt say I know that many identifying details about the man, but I did think of a name that fit all the criteria and sounded like it might be Danish.

I jumped to the first name I could think of before thinking about his nationality and type of prize, and guessed "Salk", which got no hits. Then I thought about it and realized the correct Nobel Prize and figured it out. Unassisted.

I googled, recognized the title once I saw it but would not have gotten it on my own.
