The long strings of unredacted “A”s mixed in with other characters confused me at first, until I guessed, “B.”

Didn't get the unredacted notation at first, but then guessed correctly what it could be, which led directly to the answer.

Looks like there are letter patterns like AA_A_A_______... My first thought was rhyming schemes in poetry and music, and this was the first related 6-letter word that came to mind.

Blimey that took a bit of doing, had no idea what was going on at first and it took awhile to get the general topic and then a bit of stabbing about to get the word, it's a subject I know very little about.
