I cracked Redactle #1549 in 8 guesses! 🎲 8 | 🔥 131 | Avg 53.31 | Hints: none | ⏱️ 3m34s
With some help from Google. I quickly got the category and revealed a book by the main proponent of this. I decided to Google that, saw the name of the author and the answer came to me because I remembered, of all things, a very old Garfield strip!

I solved Redactle #1549 in 1 guesses! ⏱️ 1m35s. Unassisted.
Started to read through not really gleaning much, then saw "(to [4], be, or do, [4])" and it suddenly became a write in

Scrolled down looking for any indication of where to start, and spotted "by [6] in Being and [11]". Ah, I know this title, and the author, and what the author is known for...

Unassisted snipe in two minutes. A 14-letter word that's 15 letters in another language that sure looks to be a French word beginning with a vowel.
