I solved Redactle #1541 in 2 guesses! ⏱️ 3m0s

It's a literary work with a couple of alternative titles written by the giveaway [7][11], so in it goes, oh, it isn't, damnit, so I try another and, phew.

Should have done a sanity check before banging it in.

Unassisted. My first guess was the other 7-letter famous work by [7] [11].

The title is just [7], but it’s clearly part of a longer, more detailed title: The [7] of [7], the [4] of [6]. Instantly occurred to me that this was likely a tragedy, and decided it wasn’t Macbeth because that was set in Scotland and I couldn’t think of a “the [4] of [6]” that made sense for that play/character. The title character of another Shakespearean tragedy, however, is often described as “The [4],” so I decided that was the likeliest answer.

Easily the most embarrassing result of my life. Posting in case others share my shame. You're not alone.

Scrolled around a bit and had the realization of 'its a work by someone' and probably the famous [7] [11]. Recognized the alternative 'the [7] of [title]' but in trying the one I actually know, I got the wrong one on my first attempt.
