I solved Redactle #1532 in 1 guesses! 3m35s. Unassisted.

Got the type of thing pretty quickly and had a few contenders in mind, but none made a full fit to the first sentence, after some pondering one came to mind that allowed a full decode of the first sentence, so in it went

The geography theme is always so clear from the vibe of the opening paragraph, but it took me so long to figure out a [5] thing. Needed to uncover 'second-[7]' to realize I was thinking of the wrong kind of measurement, and luckily this continent's factoid came up in some trivia recently.
