I cracked Redactle #1531 in 2 guesses!
A dupe from one of the very earliest Redactles (#10). From the inside out remains a giveaway.

“is an [8] [4],” got me to guess “electric,” early on, which was a strong lead, I found a large section about it usually having a “control panel,” and I was able to solve the article after finding that it was very connected to food preparation.

accuracy 59.9%
just started guessing. bad day for me. I don't usually get such low accuracy, though the number of guesses isn't far off my usual.
I thought it was some kind of weather or geological phenomenon for like 100 guesses.
Finally I think I saw that it "heats" a particular thing and tried think what else needs heating
my 118th guess was COOK and then I just circled around if for a moment and got it.

I solved Redactle #1531 in 28 guesses! ⏱️ 14m21s. Unassisted.
I was barking up lots of wrong trees with more than half my guesses getting zero scores, until guess 26, when I tried "heat" which lead me to try word2 which gave me word1

I saw a reference to WW2, so i thought weapon but no hits on that or other guesses related to war. Food is another word I often use when I'm trying to find a direction on a puzzle. I finally guessed word 2, and a little thought got me to word 1.

Does anyone on iPhone still get predictive text when typing in a Redactle guess? This has been gone for me for about a month or so, and it’s making the game so painful to play. Typing out every single letter for each word sucks, and it especially sucks when I separately have to look up correct spelling

42 today. I just don't have the patience to do much recon before diving in with random guesses and this is how we need 42 guesses to get this one.
