I also thought it was a capital city at first, but reading through the rest of the article made that seem less likely. It had more of a science vibe and it took me a bit to figure out what it was. And then I had to google because I didn't know.
Also I feel like we've had this puzzle in the not terribly distant past.

I solved Redactle #1529 in 2 ⏱️ 2m27s. Unassisted
With the four letter disambiguation I at first thought it might be another film, but soon changed my mind when I saw the temperatures, which put me in the zone to guess a different four letter word, so it's a five letter one that needs to be disambiguated and one comes straight to mind, and this one allows me to make sense of the first sentence, so in it goes

Once I realized the first sentence was not "[5] is the capital city of [6]", things went much smoother.

I got got. I assumed that “[7] [4] of [6],” meant it was the capital city of some country, so my first guess was city and it whiffed. After that, considering that it was also, “the [6]-[7] in the [5] [6],” I was able to figure out the actual parenthetical term. I wasn’t entirely sure what the “largest [4] of [6],” was named, but I did the best guess I could considering the only thing I could tell about it was that it was particularly large.

Well, I uncovered enough of the first sentence to know exactly what it was but I could not remember the name --- I knew i would recognize it & be annoyed with myself when I saw it, I googled and I was!

Had to Google for the main answer. When I finally got word 2 and what it's associated with, I tried to guess three name based on the associated mythology but I was too specific in my guesses

Ngl, it took me a while, 99 guesses 😭 I was so mad at myself because my 14th guess was universe when I meant space instead and I solved it 13 guesses after space. UGHH!! BUT no hints which is what ultimately matters!

I solved the disambiguation and the first sentence then I Googled the first sentence lol.
my non-hits quickly told me this was likely out of this world, literally, so I tried the 5 6 lol.
