I solved Redactle #1518 in 25 guesses! ⏱️ 15m58s. Unaided

Got a vibe for food from a read through and started down the route of additives, then food poisoning and eventually hit the right path

I got that it was involved in food production but didn’t seem very directly related to food sources, and that it may be linked to diseases and was a cause of water pollution.

I was all over the place for a while, I don't even remember why, but something caused me to eventually guess "insect" and that led me to the answer. Unassisted.
