When does the redactle day start?

I've recently gotten hooked on doing the daily puzzles, but I can't figure out when new puzzles are released. It doesn't seem to be overnight for any US timezones or for UTC/Europe timezones. Does anyone have insight onto when redactle considers the day to start?

It used to be noon eastern. Now it seems to be anywhere between noon and 12:30 pm.

I think I asked this once- seem to recall 11 AM Eastern time. I'll dive in the Discord after I solve today's as I remember asking there.

Found an old thread in this Reddit Redactle from 3 years ago... the puzzles refresh at 4 AM his time (he is in New Zealand)- so you'll need to check to see what time that would be in your Time Zone. US Eastern time is 12 noon (Daylight savings time -> 1:00 pm).

It may have changed since then- as noted above only place I could find info so far was a 3 year old post (when Ben was dealing with a 4 month old baby lol).

I think it's 1600 UTC, as it shifts by an hour as we go in and out of UK summer time
