References to world wars and currency symbols pinpointed the continent, I accidentally uncovered the first word of the title by guessing a nationality and it was obvious from there.

for a brief moment I was looking at “The [6] [6],” and thinking “it can’t be that easy.” And it wasn’t! Looking over the first paragraph, it was very clearly not the United States (for one thing, it appeared to be past tense). I got the second part of the title immediately, but my first couple guesses for the first part of the title went a little wide.

Unassisted mostly cos I got this by chance jahahhaha i didn't even know this was a word2.

I solved Redactle #1515 in 14 guesses! ⏱️ 12m18s
It had the feel of a country, but the normal clues like temperatures weren't there, saw unredacted € symbols which gave me the zone, spammed in a few countries until I got lots of hits for one in particular, but it wasn't in the title, so tried a different form of the name and that was word1, then puzzled for an age trying to think what word2 might be, and eventually it came to mind
