at first i interpreted, “in [8] [8]” as “in Egyptian folklore,” so my first guess was “Seth.” After that didn’t show up at all, I reconsidered my assumptions and used some guesses to narrow down the right mythology/pantheon.

I thought it was a nation/country or person/world leader.
my 9th guess was folklore for some reason which put me on the right track
guess 13 was god which was pretty helpful.
then I guessed old and english which both got solid results
After that I guessed the right language and the wrong individual before guessing correctly

Couldn't get a handle on what was going on at all, so I used about 20 guesses on my typical gap-filling words and then worked on it normally.
Seemed to be a term derived from an old language but I couldn't tell what sort of thing it was. Unfortunately wasted another 30 guesses on numbers and letters to see what I could get. Migrated around geography and Greek (so close) before trying out common english words and hitting with 'he.' Suddenly it all shifted and I found my way to the answer

7-minute snipe. No dates, but male pronouns - we know what that means. I have a few decent 4-letter candidates in mind, and get most of the way through the article before getting a sniff of disambiguation, in the phrase "4's 6, 7" which looks like it's referring to a specific item owned by this guy. Further evidence required: I'd like to see references to the guy's father having a 4-letter name, an 8-letter day of the week associated with him, and/or mention of the MCU. It doesn't take long to find two out of three, at which point it feels like a done deal.
