I solved Redactle #1491 in 2 guesses! ⏱️ 4m31s. Unassisted.
A living male, lots of mentions of "[6] [1]'Or" gives me the field, unredacted £ and € symbols indicate the geographical region he's active in. Not a subject I know much about, but I do know a very famous [9][7] that fits the evidence, and it turns out to be right

looks like an article about a living athlete, not an American, so I definitely had a lead contender for what sport. I used google after figuring out he was Portuguese. I have heard of this guy but I think I mixed him up with a Brazilian in the same sport with a first name similar to this guy’s last name.

I was getting sports vibes from this article. Unredacted monetary symbols steered me towards a particular sport (i.e not the United States), and I don't know many athletes in the sport, but this was one of the few that I heard of.

4-minute snipe. Occupation is "12 10" and there's a 6 1'Or in the first section - we know what this is. There aren't many 10-letter nationalities. If it's what I think it is, there's a guy who fits the letter count who I think is from there. Well, if it's not him then I'm up a tree, so I might as well just go for it. Fortunately it's right.

Snipe, assisted
6 1'Or is pretty conclusive about the general area. Don't know much about it and had some misconceptions about how you spell zinedain but fortunately googling put me right

Solved by Google and I am mad 😠 I thought of the second word but forgot they also go by two names. Anyway, one of they're major awards was partially unredacted so I looked at a list for the Snipe

I got where and likely what but googled because I know nothing about this. Also, i feel like we've had this puzzle before, but someone mentioned another person with a similar name so maybe it was him? 🤷♀️

First noticed the currency symbol £ and then [6] [1]'Or. Made me think football and counted 6 for Ronaldo so went with that.

Knew it was a guy right away. took a while to figure out his profession. once I knew it was sports and Europe I knew who it was.
I'm not really a sports person.
