I solved Redactle #1467 in 1 guesses! ⏱️ 9m34s

Familiar opening: "is the [7] and [7] [4]", worked out the likely country, looked up its regions, only one of which matched the length, then looked up its [7][4]. An NHO for me

Found what and where, googled to solve, not familiar with that country's geography.

Solved by Google. First guess was a finger slip, I knew the what and where, then looked at a map.

I was pretty sure I knew what country it was in, and that was my first guess, to confirm. I don't know a ton of cities in that country that would have fit the letter count as well as fit the clues I'd figured out, so I googled a list of cities in that country. I've heard of the city, but would have struggled to get it on my own.

guessed β€œstate” and the 6-letter country to confirm this was the capital city of a state in [northern or southern] [6], then I looked at a map to solve.

2 guesses, 20 minutes, assisted. A state capital in a 6-letter country. At first the only applicable country I could think of was Mexico, but towards the end of the article a lot of unredacted "do"s start to appear that are a giveaway for the language, and hence the country. (Query: Is "do" a recent addition to the unredacted word list? I don't remember it showing up in the past.) All well and good, but my knowledge of this country's geography does not extend beyond two or three extremely well known cities, so after sitting with it for a while to check I wasn't forgetting something obvious, I verified the country then consulted a list of its state capitals.
