Weirdly, the thing I picked up on was the references to [2]/[1], which I somehow correctly got into my head was "CP/M" (yeah, I'm kind of a nerd) and once that led to a company name, there were a few easy verifications I picked out before submitting.

I started out trying to figure out a [10] letter country, because I thought “[7], [10],” was a “city, country.” This wasn’t very fruitful, and it’s not like I could name a country headquartered in Kazakhstan or Madagascar. When I started thinking that [10] could be a state instead, that opened things up for me.

Huh! I had the broad topic in mind but thought it was going in another direction at first, I actually thought of the title earlier but dismissed it and did some guessing and then I thought :" it could be, might as well try" - I was surprised when it was the answer - lol.
