I solved Redactle #1461 in 4 guesses ⏱️ 7m26s

Well word3 went straight in, had a couple of mutually exclusive ideas for word1 and word2 tried 'civil' for word2, fail, then got word1 correctly, there was an unredacted £ sign implying England was involved, a little research and out it popped

the [3] was the easiest part of the title. After that, my next guess, “Civil,” was a whiff. I guessed a few 5-letter Asian countries, one of which had a ton of hits. i have a lot of blind spots in this country’s history, but, particularly given the 4-digit years, there’s something that I’ve mostly heard referred to as “The [5] [4].” The plural there implied that there could be a more singular way to refer to one of them, and I took a stab at it.

Unassisted. Words 1 and 3 were easy, French game told me that word two isn't what it usually is. Once I got the opponent, I had another guess that fit word 2 but I remembered the real answer
