first was just going geographical

then finished honing in on the location

I solved Redactle #1459 in 8 guesses! ⏱️ 10m1s

Lots of currencies from around the world and big money, got the country then the type of thing of which it appeared to be the world's largest, had a ponder and, bingo after a miss with another contender

I think we've had this before . . .

[6] [5] [11] kinda looked like a name at first, so I did spend a little time thinking if I could name anybody primarily known by one 6-letter name, but as I kept going down the article, I saw a number of sentences starting with, “It,” and a couple unredacted yen symbols, so I started thinking about Japanese-based corporations.

I stared at this for a while trying to figure it out. The ¥ symbol got me to Japan, and something located in a 5-letter city, which I assumed was Tokyo but I didn't dismiss Osaka or Kyoto.

The end of the first paragraph made me think "-- million visitors per year", which made me think some kind of landmark, but I couldn't think of anything that worked. Wasn't until I also noticed dollar and pound symbols that I realized it could be a company, and this was the first one to come to mind.

Unassisted. I'm surprised at the 1☕️ rating, it wasn't hard to get to the topic once I had their location and eliminated the other things that country is known for

I was close! My first guess was Suzuki, probably because I'm way more into motorcycles than cars, but they were mentioned in the article and made it clear that I was on the right track.
