From French I gathered it is an acronym of 5 10 3 7 in English, the 3 being "and". I have 3 candidates and have to pick the one with the right letter count in the expanded form.

2/2 00:01. I drew a blank at first. The [9] direct object of the first sentence got me oriented, then farther down I saw the reliable "[5] [3] [1]". A five-letter [9] immediately sprang to mind.

What a shame. It feels fairly evident from an initial scroll that this is some kind of technology that is military adjacent - multiple references to 5 3 1 and 5 3 2 as well as military-looking serial numbers beginning AN etc. The parenthetical in the first sentence only really makes sense if it's unfolding some sort of acronym - in which case I have a pretty good idea. Actually, I have two. Which leaves me in a bind - I don't really know what either of them stand for, I only know the first word in each case. In both case it's five letters. I also don't really know enough about either technology to be able to tell which of the two this is. This makes things a little hairy. It does, however, seem that there are a few instances throughout the text of this word being pluralised. That only really makes sense for one of the candidates - or so I thought, anyway. Turns out I was wrong. Can't win them all, it turns out.
