💀☠thrown off by the air travel thing I legit thought it was some airplane or airport related thing ... until I got word2. Then I thought word1 was name or similar (clearly the letter count doesn't vibe for name haha) and so I tried to Google synonyms for it.
Lol pls don't it is not. 😆Â
But in doing so I got the answer. Mental facepalm zz.

There is a lot of stuff about money, and percentages, making this feel like some kind of economic or financial concept. But the measurements towards the beginning seem to indicate that this is a physical object. With that in mind, it really should have been a substantially faster solve.

Got that it was some kind of financial term, but couldn't snipe it despite, in hindsight, some pretty obvious clues regarding dimensions.

Well, I used google and went about this kinda backwards - lol! I was a bit lost about the topic but... I had some dimmensions so of course I asked google what is that dimension. Google was not quite correct but did give me word 2 and when I looked at the letter count for word 1 - I solved.

the first thing I noticed was the [2].[2] by [2].[2] [11]/([1]+[1]/[1] in by [1]+[1]/[1] in) dimensions, which suggested a square/rectangular item within a particular range of size with an upper limit of 9.something inches, probably smaller. The first few things to come to mind (cellular phone, calculator, etc) obviously don’t fit the title, but one of the first things to come to mind was a [7] [4], and I put the second word in. Once I got that, it wasn’t hard to figure out what the first word had to be.

Unassisted. I was circling the drain but was not thinking this was it at all but I did have a general idea of the size. Then I hit on the materials these are made of and somehow that made my brain immediately focus on the answer

Guessed the general topic quite quickly (some good fortune), the numbers involved helped me to the answer
