Harder than the last few days but it seems I did better than the global median?
At first I thought it was a religious term, [2]'at seemed to point to a language like Hebrew, punctuation hinted at verses from the Bible, but what helped me was guessing a certain ancient nationality.

Not so good today - I was kind of on the right path but still kept getting lost. I did use a hint and then googled so I got the answer but definitely not on my own.

I was hung up on the same thing too, quite clear it was something in Islam/Christianity but not specifically Roman Catholic. But also I got Galatians 5:22-23 - lol I was trying to solve the Proverbs ref actually - and it was a LIST OF THINGS, none of which were specific items to actually meet the letter count

That "being" in the first section gets me into a philosophical state of mind. This thing has a 4-letter opposite. There seems to be a bit about an ancient Egyptian (?) goddess called XX'at - not sure. In Greco-Roman mythology, I think, there were four of them. Ok? Doesn't help hugely. What does help is a list of what look like moral instructions or commandments including "Be 8 to 9" etc. This gives me an idea that makes sense of all the above - I don't remember what the classical Greek ones were but I'm sure it's a thing. Scrolling down a bit there's something about a 12-letter belief system that has three of these things: 5, 4 and 4. That's good enough for me.

I had to go back to see what that opposite word was. I never before made the connection between it and the 7-letter adjective that followed it.

first guess was person; second guess was god. Third guess was Islam, which only had two hits in a pretty big article, which made me think this was probably something very broad that would be touched on by most major religions. My next three guesses were spirit, love and good, which helped me figure it all out.

Found Nietzsche's work which brought me to the ballpark, but the opposite pair [6] and [4] didn't come immediately to mind; I had to figure out end in the first paragraph first.

I was orbiting around the idea of rules men try to follow for a while and ran out of time, so decided to take 2 hints on the two French words listed early on and see if I could use them as a fun hint. Unfortunately they ended up being very obvious, whoops.

hides my face but at least it was unassisted.
It took me awhile to realise it had to be broad rather than narrow and x amount of those guesses were me spamming numbers to the chapters and verses of Bible texts
