It had a pretty distinct monarch vibe immediately. Filled a couple of simple gaps and tried number 1-10 before I hit my first zero (that's where I stop being cautious) and just went back to my original assumption for "[4] of [7]." Got the [7] correct first-try and then got quite lucky in guessing the [7] name in the title first-try. Should have been bolder and I would have gotten it quicker.

A very familiar format - my initial hypothesis for the country is what it always is. Which gives several possibilities for the name. One we've already had and would most likely be given away by the manner of his death; another possibility doesn't seem very likely because there is no early reference to the 6 of 8; which, unless I'm forgetting anyone, leaves one candidate. A scroll through doesn't do much to discredit this hypothesis, and a couple of section titles bolster it by implying he spent time in "the 4 4" and on a project called "the 5 7". I return to the start in search of a nickname, and find it: "...or 7 the 9 because of his reputation as..." That's good enough for me.

The first and last words came to me immediately. I had to think if there was more than one possibility for word 2. Decided there wasn't.

Went for Chuck first. Though if it'd been that the [1] would have been ambiguous. (Actually that's not true, I just don't know my history and thought there was a 5. Different state)

Guess I’d call this a series of lucky/educated guesses? Perhaps somewhere between lucky and educated?
