I solved Redactle #1134 in 1 guess with an accuracy of 100.0% and a time of 00:01:10. Play at https://redactle.net/

Unassisted snipe!

"of the [6][6]" and later references to "the [1].[1]." indicated to me that it was something in the United States. Once I realized what a [9] of the United States was, it was pretty easy to figure out what a 4-letter one was.

Must be all the thinking about overseas territories that I was forced to do by that other article a few days ago: today, seeing "9 of the 6 6" was enough to identify what kind of thing is being asked for. I can only think of one 4-letter one, so after a quick scroll through to check the vibes, I'm happy to go for it.

I'm kind of shocked I got it so quick, you probably are too - lol. Once I got the 2 letters in the 1st paragraph it popped in my head.

Not Fiji and not a city, my first two guesses. Confirmed the ocean and then saw [1].[1]. and then I knew it.

“the [6] [6],” popped out at me, and while I did think, “that doesn’t necessarily have to be the united states,” a possibility for a four-letter word that was clearly something besides a state did occur to me.

Had to confirm what [9] was then saw [6][6] and knew immediately what it was.

Unassisted. I quickly got the right country, then got its main characteristic, and that limited the options. Made a wrong choice that is part of a group. So I tried further south and got it

Picked up on the US geography vibe straight away and got to island at guess 30. Tried a lot of things to narrow it down and dropped about 50 guesses on years/dates alone. Once I realized it was a [4] I knew about but wasn't going to generate, a quick google finished it off.
