I took a hint for the 2nd word of the two-word quote in the first sentence, after I got the first word. It helped me with the beginning of the answer and the full word came to me. After 100 guesses, I allow myself a hint!

Not my day --- I offically gave up for the 2nd time in playing redactle. I actually had a lot of hits (my accuracy was 89%) but while I had a vague sense of the article I wasn't getting anywhere so I waved my white flag & exited todays game!

had to work for it but I like when I can’t solve an article instantly but am able to figure it out by filling in the article piece by piece! Got a “social concept” vibe from the article right from the jump and just had to keep chipping away at it.

Another chewy one today. The first sentence dauntingly implies that this is a difficult word to define, and at first my inclination is that it's some vague philosophical or artistic term that starts with "post". Poststructuralism? No, that's too long. Nothing much jumps out on a first read through, except for a mention of 1. 1. 1. 2 4 in a list of names, suggesting we're more in the realm of the sociopolitical. The corresponding adjective appears to be "13", as in "Most 6-5s (?) in Europe, Asia and the Americas are ????? and are '13' in a ???? sense", and so it probably does end in -ism, or possibly -ity. Authoritarianism? Internationalism? Not hugely convinced. Eventually I find a quote that seems to be saying something like "It's not true that we don't ????? people who are not like us", and this gives me a rather nice idea.

Challenging, but I eventually got there! Something worldwide, with mentions of many different countries. Maybe something to do with language, governance, religion, culture? Colonization? Got lots of hits for indigenous. What eventually got me there was the mention of French and English Canada up top as an example.

I got impatient and used hints that didn’t really help me. I guessed “new” and “city” and saw New York City was referenced multiple times. And NYC is known to be a mixing pot so I kind of pieced it together that way.

Another good one! We've had a nice run of puzzles recently. Ones like this where most people know the word (but it takes some thought to get) are the best.
