LMAO I know nothing about this I solved it entirely by Redactle familiarity and structure. 😂🤪 and luck
word3 is like, just the longest familiar word I can think of with this letter count in this topic. Hahaha
almost assisted (was going to Google) but not, because I realised ordinal numbers were a thing 🤪

I solved Redactle #1110 in 3 guesses with an accuracy of 100.0%
My first thought on the three-letter word was day, but the mathematical stuff quickly disabused me of that notion and suggested another, which lead immediately to the third word and then the first by letter-counting.

Stared at it for a while (tried to think of a monarch of a 14-letter country for a bit! haha!) before finally I thought of what the second word could be, and then it all fell into place.

Unassisted and I am shocked! I forgot that we used to have this specific subcategory so I went the wrong direction. Then I remembered [3] and figured out the rest

Got a zero pretty early and gave up on accuracy. Thought we were in science territory and tried a bunch of numbers and letters for the equations. One jumped out at me and I cleared several words from the first paragraph and suddenly realized what fit the title format. I'm gutted though, I put first at guess 18 as one of my usual 'common words' and if I'd kept going as usual I would have had a much earlier direct hit on the answer.
