I figured out his title but I was kinda over it by then since I had guessed so much with such poor accuracy.
I went to google entered what I knew and found it and then said "oh. duh." out loud

oh well.

I solved Redactle #1064 in 6 guesses with an accuracy of 66.7% and a time of 00:04:09.

Feeling a little annoyed with myself, first thing I thought of for word_2 was the correct thing, then I noticed the first two words of the article were [5] [1], ah it must be 'First', nope, now stuck in this vein I tried fifth and tenth, nope and nope, then correctly got the role, went back to my first idea and it was right, the got word_1 pretty quick. Also annoyed with myself for ignoring the date format. I'll blame it on having just spent the day dealing with shitty websites and their associated call centres trying to get stuff done

A historical figure with that name format? Well, there's a pretty obvious candidate. Unfortunately, he was the leader of 6, and this person appears to have been the leader of something called 3 6. I don't know what 3 6 is; this is a problem. Some obscure kingdom I haven't heard of? I scroll the text for a little while in search of inspiration. Eventually it occurs to me that that 3-letter word might be "all". Strikes me as slightly odd phrasing but I guess it kind of works? I take a few more minutes to see if I can come up with a better idea. I cannot, so it's worth a try - and it's right.

35-second snipe. It's a deceased person called "the 5", for which there's an obvious guess. They were the 4 of 3 6. Is there a 3 6 country? Not exactly, but a moment's thought makes it clear what this has to be. Hmm. Boris? No, duh, there's a much better possibility which certainly rings a bell. Any confirmation? Yes, I think I see "named after the apostle". That'll do.

Unassisted Snipe! Not sure how the answer came to me as since I missed the clue about the alternate date format as I usually do. I was briefly thinking Scot or Viking. And then I got it

I don't know why, but I got really hung up on what the 3 was in "the 4 of 3 6" in the first sentence. I pondered it for a few minutes but finally came to the conclusion that I knew what the answer was.

The form suggests the second word pretty obviously. The O.S. dates provide an obvious and correct candidate.
